Can Ikat create an image from text?
Yes. Leave the reference image empty, write a prompt, choose GPT Image 2.5 Flare or Sunburst, and generate a new image.
Can I edit an existing image with a prompt?
Yes. Add one reference image and describe the change you want. Ikat sends the reference and prompt as an Image-to-Image request and saves the completed result as a new creation.
What is the difference between Flare and Sunburst?
Flare is Ikat's default for faster everyday generation and iteration. Sunburst is available when detailed creative or editing precision matters more than speed.
How many Credits does one image use?
GPT Image 2.5 costs 5 Ikat Credits per successful 1K image in Image V1. The required Credits are shown before generation.
What image size does Ikat generate?
Image V1 currently generates 1K outputs and offers common square, landscape, and portrait aspect ratios. Higher-resolution options are not part of V1.
Can I turn a generated image into a video?
Yes. A completed Ikat image can be handed to the existing Image-to-Video workflow as its starting frame. Video generation uses its own Credit quote and is not submitted automatically.
Can I try GPT Image 2.5 before buying Credits?
New accounts currently start with 10 ordinary Ikat Credits. At the current Image V1 rate, that is enough for up to two GPT Image 2.5 generations. The same Credits can also be used for supported video creation.
