Use AI Image Generator when you want the broad Image workspace and may start from text or one reference. Use Text to Image when you want a prompt-only page focused on creating a new image from words.
Can I edit an existing image with a prompt?
Yes. Add one reference image and describe the change you want. Ikat creates a new result rather than overwriting the reference.
What is the difference between Flare and Sunburst?
Flare is the default path for faster iteration. Sunburst is the precision-oriented option for detailed creative or editing work where additional generation time is acceptable.
How many Credits does one image use?
A successful 1K GPT Image 2.5 image costs 5 Ikat Credits. The required Credits are shown before generation.
Which aspect ratios can I use?
Ikat currently supports common square, landscape, and portrait aspect ratios at 1K. Choose the shape that fits your image in the generator.
Can I turn a generated image into a video?
Yes. A completed Ikat image can be handed to the existing Image-to-Video workflow as its starting frame. Video generation has its own Credit quote and is not submitted automatically.
Can I try Image generation before buying Credits?
If your account already has enough Credits, you can generate without buying more. Ikat shows the required Credits before generation and offers Credit options if your balance is too low.
