Last updated: August 30, 2026
This Policy explains content and uses that are not permitted on Ikat. It applies to prompts, uploaded source images, generated outputs, and other use of Ikat.
Scope, lawful use, and third-party rights
Do not use Ikat to violate applicable law or another person's privacy, publicity, safety, intellectual-property, or other rights. You must have the rights, permissions, and consents needed for prompts, images, likenesses, logos, or other material you submit or ask Ikat to transform. The categories below are prohibited generation categories and are listed separately so the rules are clear.
Pornography / NSFW
Do not use Ikat to create adult AI-generated content, pornography, sexually explicit or other NSFW content, non-consensual sexual content, sexual exploitation, or related adult-content services. Ikat does not offer an adult-content generation service.
Violence / gore
Do not use Ikat to create prohibited graphic violence, gore, torture, mutilation, glorified severe injury, or content that meaningfully facilitates or celebrates real-world violent abuse. Context such as clearly fictional, documentary, educational, or news-related material may still be restricted when required by applicable rules or law.
Hate speech
Do not use Ikat to create Hate speech or content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, or promotes discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics. Do not use generated media to praise or recruit for hateful or extremist abuse.
Child-unsafe content (CSAM)
Do not create, request, upload, transform, or distribute Child-unsafe content (CSAM). Any sexualized depiction of a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor, grooming content, or attempt to sexualize a person presented as a minor is prohibited. This rule applies whether the material is photorealistic, fictional, illustrated, generated, or transformed.
Face swaps / Deepfakes / impersonation
Do not use Ikat to create face swaps, Deepfakes, or impersonation involving real people. This includes deceptive or non-consensual synthetic likenesses, identity fraud, falsely implying a real person's endorsement, or representing that a real person said or did something through generated or transformed media.
Copyright / trademark infringement
Do not use Ikat to create or distribute material that infringes Copyright / trademark rights or to misuse protected characters, brands, logos, designs, or other intellectual property in a way you are not authorized to use. You are responsible for obtaining the rights and permissions necessary for submitted and generated material.
Other prohibited misuse
Do not use Ikat for scams, phishing, fraudulent commercial claims, targeted harassment, threats, doxxing, unlawful defamation, privacy abuse, malware, credential theft, attempts to bypass safeguards or access controls, abusive automation, or activity intended to compromise Ikat or another person's safety or security.
Safety measures
Ikat uses automated and other safety measures to help identify and prevent prohibited content and misuse. We may block or restrict requests or content when appropriate. Safety measures may not detect every violation.
Reporting
If you believe Ikat is being used in violation of this Policy, report it to support@ikat.app and include enough information for the Ikat Team to identify and evaluate the issue. We may review relevant information and take appropriate action.
Enforcement
Depending on the circumstances, Ikat may reject or restrict requests or content, limit features, suspend access, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy, protect users, or comply with applicable requirements.
Appeals, changes, and contact
If you believe a safety decision or account action was made in error, contact support@ikat.app with the relevant account or generation reference when available. Ikat may review the decision and uphold, modify, or reverse the action. We may update this Policy as the product or applicable requirements change.
